Our Team

Our United Youth leadership team is made up of 10 men and women who each know and love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Together, they come from a variety of different seasons of life and backgrounds, including full-time workers, part-time workers, full-time students, part-time students, husbands, and wives. What unites them is a genuine love for Jesus, a deep care for young people, and a real passion to see the youth come to know Christ for themselves. They love walking alongside the young people in their care, building meaningful friendships, and pointing them to the hope and joy found in Jesus.

At United Youth, our heart is to see young people welcomed into a gospel-shaped community, grounded in God’s Word, growing in faith, and living for Christ with courage, joy, and love.

All leaders who work directly with the youth have completed the NSW Government Working With Children Check (WWCC), in line with government requirements for anyone serving with children. They have also completed a Safe Ministry Check, as required by the relevant church regulations and governing bodies, helping ensure that our ministry remains a safe, trustworthy, and caring place for every young person.

Keats Davaram

Youth Minister

In my role serving with United Youth, I have the great joy of leading a faithful team as we disciple the next generation of young men and women to know, love, and follow Jesus.

I serve in youth ministry because I am deeply convinced that what Jesus says about our lives, our world, our sin, our hope, and our future is true. And because Jesus is true, young people need to know Him.

I’m a full time uni student studying chemical product engineering!
I lead youth because I believe it’s SO important for young people to learn that there is a God who loves them SO MUCH that He was willing to be put to death for our sake!

I am a software engineer that is currently studying full time to transition into cybersecurity. Day to day I most consistently hang out with my wife, do church related things, study, and play card games (in that order). I lead at United Youth because the kingdom belongs to the children and it is a privilege to teach them God’s love through serving them.

During the week I study at UTS. I love spending my Friday night leading at youth because during the teen years is often when we make our own decision to follow Jesus and I love sharing the good news of Jesus with the youth that come on Fridays.

Hi I’m Irene! I’m currently working as an accountant during the week and I serve at United Youth because I want to support u guys in ur walk with Christ. In my experience, high school is a time where it’s so easy to just copy what others around u do, but let’s continue to gather in a loving community set apart for Christ!

Hey there 👋

By day I work as a software engineer, creating & building things, and figuring how to get things to work.

It is a privilege to be part of the United Youth team and to walk alongside youth as they navigate high school life – helping them explore the bigger questions of life, and how the greatest hope & life is found in Jesus.

In my downtime you can find me exploring new places, and dabbling in various hobbies in digital media, music, DIY & tech.

I am a uni student studying Primary Education, and work at a Vietnamese restaurant.
My day to day consists of sports, church and lots of hangs. I lead at United Youth as I want to help young youth grow in their understanding of God and walk by them as God works through their heart. I believe we are called to uphold certain duties as God’s children to help one another and lift one another up, and by leading at youth, I believe youth ministry priorities this vision aligning with God’s will
